Smile… 
even when it hurts… 
even when it’s dark… 
even when you want to gouge your eyes out so your brain will stop hurting as the light seeps in… 
Smile… 
the hurt will go… 
the dark will illuminate… 
leave your eyes so when the pain stops you can see…
